Bakauku Aquaculture Research and Development Center is located in Kuala, Singkawang, and integrated with Singkawang Fishery Industri Area. Therefore Bakauku was designed to be an edutourism, ecotourism area, and a mangrove development, because of its surrounding potential. Located near the seaport area, it was designed to be a support for the local fisherman community for the empowerment of fishery & mangrove cultivation.
