Singkawang Airport Site Visit on January 2020

Singkawang Airport Site Visit event was held on January 15 – 17, 2020. The primary Site Visit event was held on January 16, 2020, which began by visiting the field where Singkawang Airport will be built. Attendees included Mrs. Tjhai Chui Mie, the mayor of Singkawang, the Head of Service and its members, potential investors, Mr. Hendy Lim as Movindo Creative Director, the Police Chief and members, the National Army, and others.

Then the delegation visited the Singkawang Cultural Center to see ORCHESTRA: Composing the Singkawang exhibition and took part in the presentation and discussion of the opportunity to build the Singkawang Airport. Visitors can also see videos and mockups of the Singkawang Airport design, as well as a pottery-making showcase made from clay.

The event was closed with a performance of Chinese, Dayak, and Malay (TIDAYU) dance and singing to warmly welcome participants from outside the city of Singkawang.
